Fairytale Tilda

This evening I finished a card that I started over the weekend. I’m pleased with how it turned out especially since it was made for a very, very special friend.  I used the sketch from Magnolia-licious Highlites.

For my image I chose Fairytale Tilda from the newest Magnolia collection.  I colored her using Copics but misplaced my paper that I  wrote the pen numbers on. For her wings I used vellum and my Copics air brush system. I stamped this Tilda on vellum twice and then cut out the wings. I sprayed a pink and then using one of my Spica’s I sprayed that over the top for sparkle. Here is a close up of her. I cut the wings off the paper image and replaced it with the vellum wings.

The DP is from the Luxury Stack by DCWV. My color theme is Pink and Chocolate. My card base is scalloped card stock from my stash. I added some pearls along the side of the image and also the Tim Holtz Sizzix die elegant flourishes.

I added some Prisma roses, made little curly coils and added them to the rose bunch.

I decorated the inside of the card using the remainder of the elegant flourishes cut out and added a sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

Hugs,

How cute and precious, Stephanie! I wasn't sure I'd like this stamp, seeing as she doesn't have a full body, but you did a super job and she looks wonderful . . . hmm, I may have to change my mind about ordering, but don't look at my last credit card bill - LOL.
